Newborn safety 👏🏻

I’ve talked about this a ton, but can’t stress enough how important it is to find a photographer who is educated to safely pose your tiny human during a newborn session. The froggy pose is one of my most used examples of this; I cannot stress it enough. Seasoned photographers will never put your baby in a harmful spot!

I recently had a request to show how I merge the two images together to make one- as I never let go of your baby during this pose. So scroll over and check it out! You’ll also see the timer at the beginning and end to show just how long one of these edits take; another reason why we charge what we charge. This was an easy one and was almost 10 minutes of editing. For one photo.

The most important thing: Ask questions! You are trusting someone with your tiniest, most-prized gift on this earth. Make sure that person is safety trained and is a professional. You can't get these moments back, but you also can't risk your baby's safety.

Your favorite newborn photographer will be booking months in advance, so if you don't want to take the chance that their books will be closed by the time your baby arrives, reach out now! These images are taken between 5-21 days of age, when babies are the most sleepy and haven't outgrown those tiny details.
